Re: Most nutricious dry cat food out there?

Thanks for the advice, i did go with purely in the end, it's not much more expensive than go cat so i was more than happy to just pay a little extra for something alot better.

I am currently mixing it in with her go cat to get her used to it. If she likes it i won't be feeding her that rubbish again. I don't like the quote you got from their website "The price of our products varies due to the quality and cost of the ingredients and the manufacturing process involved" you are right, it says we sell rubbish!!!

Aw, I bet your kitten loves her new food

I mixed our 'old' food with the Applaws too, so that my girls tums had an easier time getting used to the change of diet......I really was tickled to watch them pick out every little Applaws kibble, chomp them greedily without really chewing, and leave all the old biccies behind!

Oh while I think, did you buy the Purely from Pets at Home?
They have a really good offer running until early December - 2 x 2kg kitten or adult bags for £10.00 (= £4.00 saving)

Purely Complete Kitten Food with Chicken 2kg | Pets at Home

Re: Most nutricious dry cat food out there?

How on earth did you guys ever end up with Purely dry food on a thread titled the "most nutritious" dry cat food out there? Not saying it isn't nutritious (most dry food is) but there are better foods out there in terms of ingredients.

I'd give the purely a wide berth too, i know applaws are expensive but can confirm that Encore from larger sainsburys stores (packaged in black bag) is the same as applaws my kittens have this alongside Hi life wet and are thriving on it and at £4.50ish a bag alot cheaper than applaws
