LynxKoko is on a distinguished road
7 week old kitten has no interest in food

Hi,
I have a 3 Year old Pixie Bob. I was given her by a breeder that said that she no longer wanted her as she was going to stop breeding Pixies. When I got her I was told that she was pregnant. I was also told that the only possible Father to the kittens was her own stud Pixie Bob. I did ask her if she wanted to keep the Queen whilst she was pregnant and nursing the kittens but she said the sooner that she got rid of her the better and that she didn't want to be bothered raising another litter of kittens.
Anyway to cut a long story short I took the pregnant cat and she gave birth to 4 really beautiful kittens 7 weeks ago. The problem that I have got is that whilst 3 of them are eating solids and pooping and peeing in the litter tray and basically doing their own thing 1 of them isn't. He is the eldest of them all and he is big. All he wants to do is suckle from his Mother and shows absolutly no interest in kitten food. I have tried every kitten food on the market. I have mashed it, warmed it slightly, given it to him right out of the packet, wet food dry food. everything. I have tried feeding him on his own I have done absolutly everything that I can think of and he just wont eat. I have de-flead and de-wormed all the kittens regularly. The other thing is is that he doesn't want to be with his brothers and sisters at all. He also only wants to be with his mother when he wants to eat. All the rest of the time he wants to be with me. He wont stop crying unless I pick him up and carry himaround with me. Everywhere that I go in the house that I go he has to be with me or he wont stop crying. I have tried to ignore it and left him a;one dor a few minutes at a time with his brother and sisters and all he has done is cry. I know that Pixies love human company and that they are really dog like cats but this is really silly. The other 3 kittens are perfectly happy to be left in the play pen by themselves whilst I get on with doing my jobs. They are all happy. I really don't know what I can do. I know that he has to learn to be on his own at times doesn't he? I also know that he has to learn to eat solids and be away from his mother. Oh on that subject all he wants his mother for now is food. He will go to her have his meal and then when he has finished he wont want to be with her and he will sit at the door to the front room where I work and cry until I let him in and pick him up onto my lap so that he is with me. He will then curl up and fall asleep and I will be able to get on with my work. h also has to sleep with me as well. He will not sleep with his brother and sisters and mother. If i go to bed at night and leave them all together he will cry and cry until go and bring him into me. does anybody please know how I can resolve that? I love this little guy and i want whats best for him. Its not at all like he is in the way. I am loving every minute of having kittens it is just that whilst the other 3 are happy to go off and play with each other and be with their mother this little guy just wants to be with me. He wont even go to my housemate. I once asked him if he woulld have him for a few hours and he did but said that he wouldn't settle. that he was crying all the time. Please can someone tell me what to do? I would be so gratefull. Oh by the way I am keeping this little guy forever and I am also going to keep one of his sisters as well. I will be getting them and their Mother fixed as soon as I can.
Anyway sorry to ramble on. I hope that someone will please help me. Many thanks in advance.
