Bit of an Update

Hi all

As lots of you know, I have been experiencing lots of trouble with 2 of my coonies digestive systems! Constant diarrhoea since May with no apparent cause.

The good news is that Oscar is now on RC sensible and has been solid for a week and Lucy is on RC hypoallergenic and tonight did her first formed poo in months!

Anyone who has been through this will understand what a huge step this is because it means that they can get better with proper dietary control. Keeping them as they are until a year old and then will gradually introduce other foods to see how they go!

Thanks for all the advice!

Lou

Thanks! You have no idea what it means to just be able to scoop the litter tray instead of emptying it 5 times a day!!

Re: Bit of an Update

Aww thank God! I know how upsetting it is when you cant find anything that can help a cat with constant tummy problems, it's really demoralising for the cat aswell.

Alfie was the same, took me a good few months to find a food to sort out his tummy.. he's like a different cat now

Re: Bit of an Update

Thanks all - I don't know if this is the end of it all now or whether we will have setbacks but it is definately a step in the right direction!!

They look like different cats already and Oscar is enormous!

I will keep you posted!
