ctenanthe oppenheimiana poisonous to cats?

Does anyone know if ctenanthe oppenheimiana is poisonous to cat?
I have a mainecoon kit, and a ragdoll, and I was recently bought this plant for my birthday, and when I first looked it up I'm sure that it said it's safe! but since he has started to play with it I decided to double check, and now I can't find anything, so I'm not too sure.
It's the type of plant that has furry stems and big leaves, and it closes at night and spreads out during the day(I say that because I think there's two types of ctenanthe; the oppenheimiana, and another one).
Please give me any information you can, I've removed it from where the cat can reach now but he is a big boy, growing so fast, I'm worried he'll be able to get to it soon. So I'd really like to know if it's safe or not, otherwise I'll have to get rid of it just in case. Which would be a shame since it was a gift.

Gosh, I've no idea what this is. Do you have a picture by any chance? I think it's best to be on the safe side with plants so you're wise to keep it out of reach.

Here'a a link to a sticky which may help.

Thank you so much, I will post pictures tomorrow in the day light as I only have my pone camera and it's bad quality in un-natural lighting.
We have one we don't know the name of too, it looks a bit like a yucca only there's red along the sides of the leaves and they're a lot longer(a bit like a spider plant's leaves, but less droopy).
Thanks again

Noticed a more extensive list of plants in thread over in Cat Chat after I posted this. Wonder if your plant is a Cordyline? I have the pink streaked versions in the garden!
