My kittens both eat quite a bit but they seem to be on the big side too; my smaller kitten was 1.9kg when she was 15 weeks and the other was 2.48kg.

Re: How much does your kitten eat

My boy is approaching 19 weeks. Today he has polished off two-thirds of a carton of Bozita, doubtless he will put away some more before bedtime too. I'll also leave some biscuits down overnight and he will probably hoover those up as well. He's a moggie really (well, his mummy is 50% BSH so he acts like he has blue blood even if he is a bit of a Heinz 57) but he is stocky and leggy all at once! Growth spurt, methinks...

Re: How much does your kitten eat

I must have some wee chunks on my hands then My two were 2.5kg and 2kg at 5 months, Spencer will be way over 3kg by now and Skye is packing the pounds on - got a right belly on her now! They still look tiny though

They can easily put away 400g a day each! The other day they polished off a bozita tetrapack, a 400g tin of smilla and a 200g tin of AC.

spid likes this.

Re: How much does your kitten eat

I don't know how much my cats weigh, but I feed them about 200g of wet food a day. They have dry food pretty much all day.

I am worried they aren't eating enough but this is what they have been on before. However, I may up their food intake slowly for a while.

Good thread though. I was wondering the same!
