Re: Earliest neutering?

Just an update - I have left a couple of messages but no response so far. I know they are devastated to be rehoming her (especially their little girl) and obviously they are at the hospital most of the time so I'm not panicking but still hoping to collect her today.

If we can't have her for some reason we will be so disappointed now but at least we have made the decision we are definitely getting a friend for Oz.

Re: Earliest neutering?

Finally got hold of them and we are getting her!!! Not until tomorrow but I'm going to collect her first thing in the morning - yay! I hope it's not too stressful for the poor baby but she will have to go to the vet pretty soon after. I'll spend the next few days settling her in, it'll be very peaceful here, hope that's enough. I'm told she's very friendly and confident.

I have a final question - how careful do I need to be introducing kittens of this age (21 weeks)? With Harry (age 9) I'm planning to go down the slow route but is that necessary with young ones if I'm there to supervise?

Re: Earliest neutering?

They should be fine. Still kittens at that age.

I was so hoping you'd say that

Having spent the past 3 days with Oscar I'm more convinced than ever that he needs a friend/sister. He follows my son and I wherever we go and leaps on Harry the minute he comes in - Harry is very good with him but I think he likes a little play whereas Oz doesn't want to stop.
