Kitten is withdrawn
Hi all,
My Kitten Tibble has become withdrawn or at least it looks so.
He is eating, and using the toilet without any problems, but he does seem very withdrawn.
Last night like every night we play with both Kittens, in 2 half hour sessions but Tibble just went under the sofa and laid right at the back of it.
I'm not sure, but it also looks like he is limping a little, But then this morning we looked at him and he seemed fine, walking OK and he climbed up on to the bed and ran around a little bit. But he is still withdrawn IMHO, usually after breakfast he follows me around and runs around quite a bit, but he just sat next to the back door and looked rather sad.
Also he seems to be staying away from Max our other Kitten who is a month older and appears to be the dominant cat, but Max grooms Tibble and is very gentle with him. They do play or at least they did play fight a lot, and Tibble was the main instigator of this, stalking Max and then pouncing, but Max would always end up pinning him down in the end.
Is it possible they have fallen out? They are not litter mates, but they get on so well. Or is Tibble scared of Max and has become withdrawn.
I am loathed to take Tibble to the vet as he has just been for his check and 1st round of Vaccinations, and he hated it. Is there any possibility the Vaccinations have done something? My wife isn't sure, but she feels he has been more lethargic since having his Vaccinations.
Any advice would be great.
