Re: Merrick, Weruva, Wellness and Natural Balance

Yea, Hills... I still remember going to the vet last year and asking for a recommendation of a good food for Alex (he was on RC in the first weeks) and the nurse all excited showed us The Hills and told us how healthy and well her cats are in this diet... Me, being a newbie, got all excited too for bringing the Hills packs for Alex... The very first day I read this forum, I learned how crappy Hills is and I felt quite stupid to be honest. . I tried to be positive and kept saying to myself: "At least, it's not as bad as Iams or RC..."

I am lucky Alex quickly forgot about Hills and enjoys Orijen, BUT I have a feeling it won't be that easy with wet food...
I am going to start with Weruva and will place an order next week!

Don't give up, I am sure you can still change Merlin's diet!
Btw, I found this other brand Ziwi Peak, it's apparently very good too, I am just not ordering it because its quite expensive and they seem to have always salmon in their recipes... but hey if it helps you persuade Merlin out if the Hills, by all means go for it .

I really at my wits end. Dont know what else to try He seems to like dry food with big biscuits and most of the brands are so small.

My goodness, you really have tried a lot of brands . I am keeping my research in case Alex will also be a bit fussy with wet food and it's always good to know more anyway. I will keep you posted if I discover any other high quality foods

Re: Merrick, Weruva, Wellness and Natural Balance

Hi, I have been googling Weruva to find out where to buy it in South Africa and came across your post.

I have four Persians and is concerned about the Royal Canin I have been feeding them.

Could you please give me the link to the online store you used to get the mentioned food? I would really appreciate it!

Kind Regards
