I would get your vet to test for TF. Vets often don't test for this unless you ask for it. I would get this done asap. It is as common as the other problems that are usually tested for.

You need to get fresh wet poo and take the sample over 24hrs as TF is shed intermittently. Also needs to be tested by PCR method as it is the only reliable test. Treatment is by Ronidazole only, no other drug will cure it. Look on the FAB site for info on TF.

Whilst i hope he does not have anything and it clears up by iteself, it is always good to know what it is and TF can be cured.

Try him on boiled chicken for a while to ease his tummy. Raw is always easier to digest than dry or wet food. There are people on her very knowledgable about raw feeding.
