diarrhoea

Hi, just a bit of advice please...

The last 3 of Taz's poos (yesterday evening and 2 today) have been runny, this evenings was a soft solid shape and diarrhoea.

Normally Taz (7 months now) will eat anything but recently (past couple of weeks) he has gone off tinned food and will only eat Felix fish pouches the adult ones, he's been on adult food for 6 weeks ish with no probs. He eats raw meat, chicken and cooked chicken aswell (all occassionally) so as his diet hasn't changed recently I can't see a reason for the diarrhoea?

He's recently wormed, his behaviour is the same ie eating, sleeping, manic, cuddly etc etc but I am aware that this doesn't indicate all is well.

Obviously I will ring the vet in the morning but any advice for overnight and tomorrow 'til I get him seen? Should I starve him overnight? I always usually leave something in his bowl for him...or should I carry on as normal until he sees the vet?

Thanks in advance......

Re: diarrhoea

Cats can sometimes just get upset stomach's like us hun - i have a girl who once in a blue moon gets the raging craps for a day or so, then solid and no problems lol xx she's always done this so i just make sure she has a more sensitive diet if it's bad and she's back to normal pretty quickly xx

just try some boiled chicken and rice hun xx but yes ring vet if you're worried as at least they'll see him and check him over to put your mind at ease xx as his behaviour hasnt changed though it may just be one of those things xx
