Re: I knew this forum would cost me money!

The toy thing..... have you tried your local independant pet shop? I always gave it a wide birth thinking it was way to expensive and exclusive but in actual fact they were really cheap! I got a feather chaser toy for £1.50, an artifical fur mouse £2.15 (which my kittens went crazy for so I went back to buy another one later in the day so they could have one each lol!) and a couple of pure cat nip mice for £1.50 each.

The prices were really competitive and much cheaper than pets at home.

Our local small pet shops are pants!!! Lots of dog stuff but very poor selections for cats.

I only get from P@H if I am either too impatient to wait for ZP to deliver or they have reduced stuff.

ZP has just got TOO much choice.

Purrsinourhearts is very good too and their profits go towards rescue centres.

mine is great too! i went for toys when first got kitties, and they gave me free sample of natures menu, hi life & some high meat dry - and told me the food % stuff you read here ( like many , i only joined when things went wrong!) the toys were good, and they have some home- made stuff for local shelters - which lasted well!

as independants they do vary.

mine cost more than ZP, but i can always pick up stuff, and all the staff know their stuff ( unlike P@H!)

Re: I knew this forum would cost me money!

have def spent loads more on decent food for her highness, even if a fair proportion got binned as it wasn't deemed to be the right texture/flavour/wetness/dryness (you get the idea lol)
but have given up buying toys " pah... i am far too superior to play with you " cat trees "i don't even bother with real trees unless they contain birds" cat beds " i only sleep on the cleanest washing, the plumpest duvets or the warmest most used laptop. unless i want to piss the dog off then i will demand her basket"

I've got to say I love Zooplus, the food is excellently priced and so much choice, I've never had an issue with deliveries or damaged items, and the one time they did get something slightly wrong they compensated me with money off vouchers for my next spend. I also like the Zooplus points thing, my two have had loads of free toys through that! Most recent was a free water/food dispenser, which I have replaced their regular water bowl with, and some soft foam bouncy balls which they chase around like loonies for hours

Re: I knew this forum would cost me money!

Just ordered a load more food tonight - as well as AC and Bozita which I know she likes, I ordered some Smilla and Grau - I said to OH oooh I have 240 points to spend - he gave me the James Bond looks (one raised eyebrow) and said ' Are you you want to be telling me that?'
