Top Life

Is it any good? And, if so, who stocks it?

I have just seen an advert for "NEW Toplife Chicken Dinner" which says it is "over 90% meat in chunks" and has no cereals, vegetables or added sugar which sounds fantastic. Knowing what I now know (from this forum!) I realise it's the actual chunks that have the 90% meat - it's in jelly - but the above sounds pretty good to me?

I've got my two on a combination of Hi Life, Nature's Harvest, Purely and Applaws with ever decreasing amounts of Applaws dry (have finally got them off James Wellbeloved - which was definitely well-beloved by both of them but is too full of cereals!). They don't seem as keen on the Purely so I'm looking for something else for them (was thinking of something like Bozita from Zooplus but, having had a problem with my first Zooplus order, I'd like to find something I can buy locally of possible).

So does anyone know if Top Life is any good and where to get it? I haven't seen it in Tesco, P@H or Wilkinsons.

Re: Top Life

I believe Toplife is packaged by the same people as Bozita (or something along those lines ) and I also believe it to be very similar to the Bozita chunks, so if you were already considering purchasing that then you won't go far wrong

The chicken dinner which is the only cat food they do, so lacking variety, is sold in Asda and I *think* this is the only place. A lot of other stores sell Toplife milk etc, but not the food.

Re: Top Life

Yes I saw some in my Asda this weekend and nearly bought it but thought it was some kind of liquid meal as it was called a formula and is in a fruit juice type carton! I didn't buy it as I wasn't sure what it was, it doesn't say much on the carton. I think it was £1.18 for a carton.

Thanks for this - sounds like it's worth a try. The fact that it's only available in one flavour isn't too much of an issue for me as I rotate several brands - no good in isolation though.

I feel a trip to Asda for next weeks shopping coming on - oh well, it's cheaper than Tesco anyway (or so the TV tells me!).

That's pretty cheap as it's a 370g carton

Thanks - I've just seen this - doing it now!

I'm wondering if any other food companies do free samples?!

I wondered this too but I see both the milk and food has TopLife Formula at the top so is maybe just the make? Was rather confused by it so never got any.
