PETFOU is on a distinguished road
Cats and grease?

Now I am talking axle grease and not Crico kind. My white cat came inside tonight and I noticed a black spot about an inch long at the base of hise tail. I pulled the clump off. Felt like old grease and smelled it and it was not poo.
I then prushed him with a fine tooth comb and got all most of it out. Being white, I can still see a streak. If he cleans that area, will the grease hurt him? What should I do? A bath is not an option. The last time I tried it I had claw marks down my back when he tried to get away, I could take scissors and trim it if I need to.
