wellsandmittens is on a distinguished road
Re: Preventing tartar build-up

Well I will persevere with the chicken wings, see if I can get them both eating them. It can't really do any harm to at least try it for a while. Luckily my boy with the tartar build-up loves them, it's the other one who is less keen. Is it nuts that I was really really proud of Wellington for eating the bones?! I was just so pleased!

Ironically, Mittens who is not so keen on raw although will try some beef/lamb so I am going to keep working on him, was spotted in our garden last night eating a baby pigeon which was bigger than his head. No problems with bones there then
