Re: It's been a year, HELP

In the past I've looked in to ringworm and fungal infections as a potential culprit. It wasn't recent, but from what I remember of reading symptoms, paging through photos, and and some small trials at home I was able to discard ringworm as the cause. As for other fungal sources, nothing has added up close with his symptoms to really say. But, I am definitely no expert on these types of things and I could have missed something important.

I'm glad I chose to post about these issues with you guys. I think I've gotten so used to having this be a part of who he is that I forgot that time does effect whatever the condition may be and make matters worse. A sense of urgency to have a professional sort out the symptoms seems extremely wise and I feel kinda dumb that I didn't aggressively seek out a way to fund a vet. I'll be running through my bills today to see if I can get him in this week, I'm thinking it's very possible.

Do you guys have tips for finding a trustworthy vet? Not some guy that'll glance, diagnose, and throw some meds my way. I don't wanna end up at a place like the last one.

And photos can be found in my profile if you like. Some are kinds goofy, but yeah, his name is Fela [pronounced fay-la] It's an african name from a musician I like. Any way, I'll let you know how the visit goes and what the story is behind this.
