Catsan Smart Packs?

We've always used Catsan litter for our 3 year old male cat Nemo, but his litter is beginning to really smell and I'm looking for an alternative. I've read about these Catsan Smart Packs, that are supposed to be very good. Has anyone on here used them, how are they? Are they worth the money? How do they work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Re: Catsan Smart Packs?

Lots of people on here will recommend OKO Plus. It's amazing it's not clay based and clumps very well meaning you are not removing unnecessary litter meaning you can go about 4-6 weeks without having to do a complete change. It also controls odour amazingly. It does track a bit but I think that is due to it being lightweight compared to other litters.

Costs a bit more but works out cheaper in the long run as not having to change it as often. I love it

Hi and welcome to the forum. You say your cats "litter"is begining to smell.Do you mean the litter or what your cat is depositing in it .If it is the latter do you mean his pee is strong smelling,if it is , the first thing that springs to mind, is he neutered,he may have a urine infection. If it is the litter then you may need to try another brand, although if you have always used the same litter it does seem odd that it is only now begining to smell.I have never used Catsan so cant give you any help with the"CatSan smart packs"sorry.
