Soft poo

I posted this in Cat Chat then realised I probably should have posted it in here.

Skye has done a few quite soft poos the last couple of days (not runny or anything, just soft). Could this be her antibiotics? She started them on Sunday morning and there's been a few soft ones between Monday and now.

Re: Soft poo

Could be the AB (are they for her wheezing?)? Could be the Smilla that you have recently introduced if I remember rightly? Are you taking the intro to Smilla nice and slow?

Re: Soft poo

Yeah for her chest. I didn't start the Smilla til yesterday and noticed the soft poos from Monday. But, yes, I am doing it nice and slow They're getting their normal pouch with a little mixed in, they seem to love it - haven't seen them eat like that since I got them and that's only with a little in Here's hoping it's a sign!

Re: Soft poo

OK! If you are worried about her poops then phone the vet and ask them for some probiotics (or order them online, which is cheaper but will take longer than just collecting something from the vet).

Fingers crossed for a Smilla success.

Re: Soft poo

I'm not overly worried, they still form a poo shape they're just a bit soft and wondered if it was because of the ABs as only started since she started them. Will keep an eye on them.

Hopefully it will be a success
