Re: Animonda 400g - How Long Can an Open Can of Food Last?
Hmm, I may be thick this morning (not had my coffee yet) but I don't understand your problem. Open 400g tin, put on plate what you need for a meal, decant the rest into airtight container to put in the fridge, feed the rest of your 200g that day, then feed the remaining 200g the next day. So, the food should be in the fridge for just over 24 hours. Then for the next day and perhaps the day after use a different brand in your rotation.
What am I not seeing hun? |

Re: Animonda 400g - How Long Can an Open Can of Food Last?
Oh dear...seems I was more tired than I thought last night
![]() Indeed...an open 400g would last over 24 hours, not 48 like I said in my original post (oops!). So the food would be okay being stored for that amount of time? Wasn't very sure as never had a can of food open that long. I hope that makes more sense. I do feel a little silly now ![]() |

Hun, be gratefull you get 24hrs out of your Animonda can.

I've 'found' cans at the back of the fridge where the kids have pushed them - sometimes 3 days later - still gave it to the cats with no ill effect

Re: Animonda 400g - How Long Can an Open Can of Food Last?
Thanks spid (and everyone else, of course!
). Now my brain is a little less sleep deprived, 36 hours (which is roughly how long a tin would be open for here) isn't a particularly long time, so should be fine. Thanks all for putting my mind a little more at ease ![]() |
