Hi, sorry to hear about the distress you and your cat have been going through since his accident, imagine it has been quite a challenge for both of you. Maybe it is for the best all round he is being looked after at the vets and with the remainder of his 'cage rest' can make a full recovery. At least he's in the hands of people who are used to these situations. I wonder whether he was feeling frustrated just like we would if we are used to being active, then all of a sudden, we are not as active and confined to 'bed rest', also I wonder whether underlying of your being 'crazy' maybe because you felt helpless in seeing him distressed like he was and just wanted him to get well. If so this is understandable. Hope you feel a little more relieved and not so stressed, sounds like you too could do with some rest. It's just for right now, not for ever and in no time, your boy will be back at home.
