I am currently fostering three, five week old kittens. There is one kitten who throws up every day... I feed every four to five hours, have tried diluting the formula more, have tried three different types of formula including the premixed, she's been first round dewormed with strongid, taken to the vet and as per the request was to try different brands of formula and diluting them more than the instructions say exactly like I have been... I don't know what to do! She is perfectly healthy otherwise. She pees and poops great, no diarrhea. She is not lethargic, she plays with her siblings and is sleeping normally. She seems to throw up formula an hour before feeding time... I have even tried feeding much less formula more often. She almost projectile vomits the formula and I don't know what to do... When switching formulas, I did so gradually over a couple meals... Please help!

Re: At Wits End With Kittens
I am sorry to hear about your foster kitten it is hard when they are not well, I know from past experience. At 5 weeks you could try taking her off formula and weaning her onto meat and see if this helps? I would also take her back to the vets for a further check up although I know there isnt too much a vet will be willing to do on a kitten so young. Good Luck hun xxxx
