Feline refuse bin!!

My cat MAX will eat anything!!!! I dont intentionally feed him things but Im forever catching him eating things, so far he hs managed to snaffle, naanbread, Poppadom, cheerios, bread, pasta cocopops crisps ... well pretty much anything my kids drop on the floor he will dive right into!

He has been wormed.. is he just a right little pig! he gets plenty of wet food and his dry is down to graze at all day

Pixie doesnt eat anything besides her food!

How bizarre!

Hes back for his 2nd vax next week so will ask the vets advice

Anyone else got a furry dustbin?

Re: Feline refuse bin!!

No sorry, Algren has no interest in my food apart from the drop of milk in the bottom of my cereal bolw, or a drop of gravy. Nim likes to try things, if i am not watching, lol. but they both love sardines in tom sauce .

you can ask the vet but i can't see a problem with it. he may well grow out of it.

Just make sure he is not trying things that may harm him. there is a good thread on here about things harmful to cats.

Re: Feline refuse bin!!

our dearly missed tabatha was a furry dustbin and a cheeky madam to boot. she would take a flying leap onto the table at dinner time and swipe the 1st thing she could from any plate and do a runner. if you didn't watch her she would sit on the window sill behind the curtain and wait for something to be left unatended. over her short life she pinched a whole corn on the cob, a poppadom and naan bread, peas, slices of toast, slices of pizza were among the more unusual. prawncrackers were a huge favourite lol

she was also the only cat i know of who caught a woodpecker as it made its first flight from a tree

Re: Feline refuse bin!!

Hercules will eat ANYTHING, he's been known to eat/steal toast, cornflakes, broccoli, chicken curry, chips... Well you get the idea. oh and if you cook a roast, we HAVE to shut the dining room door as he will walk up to your plate to steal a roastie!

Also we've had to stop leaving loaves of bread out to defrost as he will tear open the packet to get at the frozen bread... Weird huh!

Re: Feline refuse bin!!

Lol my new kitten tries to eat anything we are eating. We had to close him out of the room yesterday as we were eating out pork roast dinner as he kept trying to nick the pork of my mums plate. He also love toast with marmalade, fruit loaf toasted with butter and loads of other stuff that we are eating lol My older cat tho Chewitts will not eat anything other than her own food

LOL at all these greedy cats! And theres us worrying about the % of meat in their wet and about having grains in their dry when they will just go and steal the pasta and bread anyway
