Re: Kitten diarrhoea, sneezing and no appetite. Advice needed!!

They've both been drinking water of their own accord on a regular basis. They ate 2 fillets of plain White fish on Saturday but when I tried to give them that again yesterday they just walked away from it! I did notice that they seemed to prefer the bits of fish they didn't have to chew. Any of the bigger bits just got spat back out which is why I'm wondering about the texture? I've just put some food on their paws and they are currently licking them clean which is good so thanks hobbs for that suggestion going to try the tuna and maybe give them a tiny bit of kitten milk and see what happens. I just really want them to eat more than one mouthful of something!

Are you using plastic bowl by any chance? If so, try giving them some food on a plate see if it makes any difference.

I see what you mean about the texture. I now wonder about their mouths and teeth. I'd have a look for any redness around gum area. Perhaps you could mash the fish in with the milk if all else fails on Aurelia's plate!

I don't use plastic bowls, they have a ceramic one each but I have taken to putting the food on a plate because it seems to bother them if their whiskers touch the sides! I just mashed up some of the RC sensitivity food with some kitten milk and SUCCESS they have eaten more than I've seen them eat for a couple of days! Still not as much as I'd like but it's a step in the right direction at least. I hope that the milk doesn't disagree with them now!
