Advice please

My cat Boo has a bit of an issue with grains so he gets fed grain free food.

Anyway I'm pet sitting for a friend at the moment and so she gave me some cat treats for the boys. I was too polite to say that he couldn't eat them they aren't in the original wrapping because they were from a big tub she had but I think they are whiskas treats. Anyway I'd put them in a sealed box on the kitchen table because I'm seeing a friend and was giving her a load of cat food that I can't feed from the cupboard, went to clean their litter trays, came back and the little sod had got into them through two sealed boxes and the plastic wrapping.

I've had them off him and he didn't get to eat many but they've def been opened. So I'm imagining it's not going to be good coming out the other end. Do I see what happens as he didn't eat much or feed him cooked white fish for a few days instead of his normal cat food as a precaution (that normally settles his tum much better than chicken)?

We have been sloppy poop free for well over 2 months and I have absolutely no desire to go back there.

Re: Advice please

Ours did exactly this and he has a grain intolerance, I had a bag of science plan dry from the vets as a freebie and should have thrown it away, but didn't. He managed to get to it and munched about a sixth of the bag before I got home.

I just added a spoon of pumpkin to his meals for a few days to firm him up, he still had softees for a day or two, but was fine after that.
