Help! Cat not eating or drinking!

Hi all,

My five year old black cat Tigger has stopped eating and drinking. This is the fourth day now. She is sleeping more than usual, seems to be walking a bit odd, and is weak (she almost fell down the stairs and can't jump up on to anything - she tries but can't jump high or far enough). When I pick her up she is really not happy about it.

We have tried spooning some water into her mouth as we are worried she might be dehydrated. She has also only pee'd once in the past couple of days and no poos.

We are going to try and take her to the vets tomorrow if we can get an appointment. But in the meantime I was wondering if anyone has any advice as we are quite worried about her?

Thanks,

Mel

Agreed, I would be on the way to the emergency vet now. Any cat not eating for 24 hours is a worry. Anything longer than that and it is a great concern. And then there is the unsteady walk too, which is a worry. Good luck and let us know how she got on.

I hope everything is OK. It really stresses me out when my two Siamese are poorly.
