And agree about the supplements - as long as the cat eats bones and organ meats in addition to meat, there's no need for supplements other than fish body oil (NB! Not cod liver oil).

I don't see any reason for including carrots, or any other vegetables for that matter
fish body oil? xx

may be a dumb question but can you just buy that? lol xx or just giving them steamed fish, will this be enough to compensate for that part?

still learning this, sorry lol xx

From looking at this article: Fish oil - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia it would seem you can feed fatty fish and skip the oil supplement, but I'm not sure of the amount you would need. I give Wilson raw fish once or twice a month, and then supplement with the oil the weeks he doesn't get fish.

You can buy fish oil from Zooplus, like this one: Salmopet Salmon Oil: Great Deals on Dietary Supplements for Pets at zooplus

Hope that helps

Re: Feeding Raw

I didnt graduate the raw food with Alfie & Lola, it didnt play havoc with Alfies tum which is a miracle in itself.

I dont feed just raw.. just add raw chicken wings, thighs, raw lean steak mince, steamed white fish to their diet.

They seem to be thriving off it and enjoying the variety rather than just eating plain old biscuits all the time.. much more natural for them.
