Ye we going to tell the cattery tommorow and I hope they do it right. I am person who has to give the drops at the exact times. Have to get them there in the morning since we leaving home at 1 pm.

Just glad it was not a virus

Edit: She said drops 6 times a day is that the norm?

Re: Lynx Runny Eyes

Can I just add left over eye drops should be thrown away esp if they are antibiotic ones as you are only meant to keep them for 28days once opened!

Did not know they had to be chucked out after 28 days when opened. Thanks for the info.

Re: Lynx Runny Eyes

About the cattery they will use a litter with wood shavings similar to bunny litter. Will the cats use it after using crystal litter for a while and might it confuse them and make them pee in the house when I bring them home to use crystal litter again?

Or will they adapt fine to the change in litter for 2 days and when they come back to their original litter?

Can you not take some of your own litter for them to use in your cats pen/s?? That would solve the problems of confusion. Some cats wont use litter that is different to what they are used to. I have seen some cats hold their bladder and bowels for as long as possible if they in the vets and its a diff litter so I assume it may be similar in catterys?! I could be wrong tho but would deffo as if you could take some of your own litter for them to use. I cant see why this would be a problem!?

Re: Lynx Runny Eyes

The cattery person said all the cats she has had do fine with the sawdust litter so I brought my litter back.

They were so frightened and scared when I put them in the cage. They probably remember the cage from the SPCA.

They use similar cages to what the SPCA does so hope they don't think I have abandoned them.
