Unhappy another vomit & poo question

i'm sure the last thing you need to read is another " my cat/kitten is vomiting" thread but i'm worried bout my baby & need some reassurance.

Rumbles is now 23 weeks & is doing really well, he weighs just over 6lb, playful, happy etc. He's been vaccinated, wormed, flead & other than an early bout of diahorrea has been healthy.
He was fine last night, had his dinner, treats, playtime & bedtime cuddles. My OH said he was fine at 4am really playful & nosey but when i fed him at 6:30am he was'nt interested in his food. About 5 min later he started heaving & he brought up frothy liquid. I did a search around & found a small pile of partially digested food on the carpet. Since then he's heaved a few more times with the same froth comming out. I checked the litter tray & theres was runny but not watery poo, normal colour no bad smell, no mucus or blood.

Wondering if it was the pidgeon he had last night, our older cat had exactly the same & is fine. But he does have an iron stomach! Anyway i've left Rumbles with some tuna & rice, lots of bowls of fresh water. I washed out both litter trays with hot soapy water, hoping it's just a little reaction to the food. OH is on strict instructions to monitor him when he gets home (1pm) & my poor baby will be off to the vet if he worsens or is'nt better by the morning. Any other advice/suggestions?

Re: another vomit & poo question

Hello, sorry I cant give you any useful advise but I was wondering how your kitten is today? I have had problems with a younger kitten with an upset stomach and found that boiled chicken on its own seems to be helping.

Re: another vomit & poo question

seems to be better now, his appetite is back. He's had a meal this morning & no vomiting so far so i think it was just an upset tummy. Chicken gives him the runs
Thank you for asking x
