Hi,
Currently living in France, have a 4 year old Balinese, who is very vocal.A few days ago his meow changed to a squeak, I contacted the breeder who suggested a visit to the vets just to be on the safe side. Off we went on Friday morning, the vet took his temperature, tried examining his ears and also throat.Told me that he had a temperature,throat and ear infection. Promptly gave him 3 injections, I questioned what they were, he said marbocyl, Metacam and I couldn't understand the last. He also gave me a 5 day course of Marbocyl 2 x 5mg to be taken with breakfast.
Problem is, he has vomited 3 times since the vets, lots of it, undigested. Can anybody advise me if I should give the tablets with breakfast or wait til I can get hold of the vet,hopefully at some point tomorrow?

If he's vomiting shortly after taking the antibiotic then yes you need to contact the vet for an alternative medication. Otherwise infection won't be treated.

Hi,
He had the injections first thing Friday morning and was sick first around lunch, then again at 10pm and again about an hour ago.
I was told to start the tablets 24 hrs after the injection so he hasn't had any yet.
