Unhappy Cat with blood in pooh

Hi all noticed it last night but didnt know who the culprit was till just now and he has just had a pooh and the blood was the last to come out, am going to make an appointment first thing in the morning just brings back bad memories and just really worried

red blood or dark blood? Was there a lot. If there was a significant amount I wouldn't even wait until morning see if you can get him in the emergency vets today?

it was dark and sort of stringy he does pooh alot compared to the other 2 and there wasn't alot but still enough to notice what it was

red blood could be something like a cut or tear but dark blood is normally higher up. I'd ring the vet now and see if they recommend bringing him in today. Don't take any risks!
