Kitten mistiming jumps,etc.

The male of my 2 new russian blue kittens appears a bit clumsy and my wife thinks maybe there is something wrong with his back/hind legs.
He runs around like crazy playfighting with his sister, etc but certain jumps he doesnt get near yet his sister makes em perfectly.
When he sits down his feet appear a little more forward than his sis and often appears to fall off stuff when rolling over, etc.
Doesnt appear to be in pain or hiding an injury, purrs like a maniac, scoffs his raw n wet food plus some of sisters lol
Am i too over-concerned or is a vet trip in order or is it just a funny 14 week old kitten who needs to grow a lil first?
Vet or wait till he fully grown?
Tnx for any advice in advance

Re: Kitten mistiming jumps,etc.

It sounds as if he is just misjudging things a little but a trip to the vet will give you peace of mind I'm sure.

Re: Kitten mistiming jumps,etc.

It could just be that he's a boy Monty was nowhere near as accurate in his jumping and pouncing as Maudey, even now he isn't as good as her, so it could just be a male thing but I would get him checked out just for peace of mind.

Re: Kitten mistiming jumps,etc.

When we first got Slugger many years back as a 10wk kitten, we also had his sister Rosie. We noticed VERY quickly that Rosie was more advanced than Slugger, especially in the jumping stakes. I think it's a girl is quicker on the development thing than boys issue.

But a vet check will be able to reasure you of that.
