Benji doesn't really need doing yet but I do it to get him used to the comb. Storm is also really easy to take care of, he rarely knots and if he does it's in one of the four "armpits" but are dead easy to get out. He thinks the comb is a toy so I'm glad he doesn't have a really long coat like many coonies but is quite silky instead

A lot of Coonie suffer from greasy coats, one product which is very good is Groomer Goop , it works wonders

Fraid not even close, I'm in Wiltshire
Definitely agree about starting as you mean to go on, little and often etc, I've had to groom Maine Coons who havent been used to grooming from an early age and their coats have been let go ![]() |
