Re: Ziwipeak

I do rate the food but my picky cat just wouldn't touch it. The wet food was appreciated by my dads cat but I never found a single cat that would even touch the air dried stuff.

Re: Ziwipeak

Thanks, forth day on dry and wet ZP, boy doing fine on it, girl- if combine dry and wet in one sitting, doesn't agree with her, whereas separate, is fine

@ tiny midge, do you feed just the can ZP, anything else apart from this?

Re: Ziwipeak

I only feed wet food. I rotate the cats food and at the moment it is Ziwi Peak ( although only occassionaly as it is quite expensive), Bozita, Animonda and Grau, although I am not sure whether to continue with Grau due to the rice content. All this is due to info from Hobb's excellent A - Z.

Re: Ziwipeak

@ Tiny midge, we use the ZP dry which is air dry raw, not any other dry. Yes the wet is quite expensive, so I rotate using that and Lily's organic

Re: Ziwipeak

That's great McK, be interesting to hear when cat goes on ZP. I found since starting my two on it, they drink more water from their fountain, not sure if good thing. I know with 'human' food when cooked at low temperature like dried fruits, vegetables, becomes more concentrated as nutrients are preserved and we eat raw where we can in our household so I have a dehydrator.
