How do you deal with meal times (people with 4+ cats)?

I know it's still very early days, but meal times are somewhat of a eat what you like buffet at the moment at our house!

Wyn was sent with lots of different food, none of which she seems particularly enamoured with apart from her beloved biccies.. Yet she only eats a couple of mouthfuls when she feels like it, I get the impression shes a 'come and goer' whereas all the other 3 are pretty good at eating everything that's put in front of them at set meal times.

Schrodinger wouldn't touch his NI again tonight, so I offered it to Wyn who had a nibble whilst Schrodinger looked more interested in her biscuits and wet food.. Pandora and Pyrrha will eat anything put in front of them, but this means I have to feed them first or separately to stop them eating whatever I'm trying to get down the other two.

If the boys weren't the age they are now, I'd be tempted to just put down big bowls with a mixture of raw, wet and biscuits in so they could help themselves but I know the boys will end up the size of a house if I do that.. Bleurgh.

I'm a bit of a routine person so this is currently sending me a little bit loopy.. Lol. Interested to know how other multi cat households cope?

I just put down 4 bowls for my 4 cats and then pour their measured food into each, but then they start eating each others food so I just let them be.

I've got 7 cats, they all eat wet food at regular mealtimes, breakfast & teatime, with a handful of dry each at bedtime. They all eat pretty much the same, tinned at breakfast, raw at teatime. I don't stick to exactly the same times, but keep to this routine, plates go down, its all eaten - job done lol!

That sounds like heaven, hopefully we'll get to that stage eventually!

Was a shambles again this morning. Main problem really is that all our youngest will eat with gusto at the moment is the biscuits supplied by her breeder, which I can't leave down constantly for her (as she'd like!) 'cos my boys will wolf it down. Once she's moved off that, hopefully our issues should get better
