Chicken wing adventures
Tried to give Biffy a chicken wing. He had a sniff and went straight for his dry food. I tried bringing it to him a few minutes later, he sniffed again then did his "what the hell are you trying to do to me mummy?" face, arched his back and did the thing where his ears practically lift off his head they prick up so high! So, not so great! However, me putting tins away in the cupboard from supermarket shop, now that is fascinating to him!

Re: Chicken wing adventures
It can take a while to convince a cat that chicken wings are food. Mine would only bat them around the kitchen like a toy mouse at first. Then one morning, I found last night's chicken wing on the carpet all furry, having been played with overnight, so I put it in the bin. Went upstairs to get ready for work, came down and found Monty crunching away at it, with Larry looking on, fascinated. So that worked then - turn it into a bin raid, and suddenly it's a desirable item! Harness the thieving instinct - that's the key!

My three are always pulling the bins over - to the point where we have removed most of them from the rooms. I'll try this later ;-) |
