Re: Cat puking even on raw food!!! Help!

You make it sound like you left that second lot of mince down for ages?... Think I'd be sick too if I ate something uncooked that had been left out overnight and for part of the next day too.

I'm honestly not trying to be funny or offensive, but that's just how I read it.

Re: Cat puking even on raw food!!! Help!

lol probably not, my cats eat 3 day old birds! (as in dead 3 days) horrible creatures.

sounds more like he's got a tummy problem.. possibly congenital/inherent thing?

let us know what the vets says

what has he had tested already?

a trip to the RVC might be in order they are GODS!!! well done for taking insurance out tho cos cats are bloody costly

Re: Cat puking even on raw food!!! Help!

I'm not a vet but if he's not pooing a lot then it could be that he has some kind of blockage maybe?

I couldn't see your link, it says it's timed out but I every insurance I've looked at you are not covered for illness for anything from 14-30 days from taking the policy out so I would check carefully and be prepared that you may have to pay.

Hope it's nothing serious, poor kitty

Re: Cat puking even on raw food!!! Help!

I don't think more than insure next day.

Take the cat to the vet and if you can get a sample of the puke gross though it is. If it's green that isn't normal puke as someone else said sounds like bile. If the cat is continually sick there could be an underlying issue. Both of mine cough up hairballs and neither of them have green puke.

I wouldn't try a hairball remedy as well without speaking to the vets you've already changed around the food a few times.

Re: Cat puking even on raw food!!! Help!

You won't be covered for 14 days most likely and things you have already had issues with won't be covered, so as you have been to the vet with dietary issues/stomach problems they are unlikely to cover them in future.
