Re: My kitten is super sick... :(

I am afraid but she needs to be seen by a vet - asap; like now. Two weeks is already way too long to see whether things improve.

If you don't have the money (or a credit card to put the visit on) than I suggest you get in touch with the PDSA, RSPCA or Blue Cross.

This kitten needs medical help and knowingly withholding this help is an offence. So please please get in touch with the above charities and get the kitten seen by a vet today.

All the best.

Re: My kitten is super sick... :(

There os nothing we can tell you to do. She needs to go to the vet, any other advice we would give you is dangerous.

She MUST got to the vet. Sorry but if you cannot afford that then these kittens should have been taken to a rescue that can afford the treatment. Sorry that this is hrash, but a super sick kitten = a vet visit.

Erm... You need to get this kitten to the vet NOW, or she will die. There are no 2 ways about it. Find the money from somewhere, take her to the PDSA, I don't know. Take her to the vet anyway. They will treat her. Do not delay any longer.

Re: My kitten is super sick... :(

Your kitten sounds VERY seriously ill and unless you act NOW and take her to a vet straight away she will die.

We have been trying to relinquish these kittens since we got them. NO one will take them. There's a huge over population here and none of the shelters, homes, or even the government funded places have room. They're better off with my family than the street where they'd be eaten by coyotes, hit by cars, attacked by other neighborhood cats, or malnurished.

That said, I appreciate the advice. My boyfriend is calling the vet from work today to see if there is anything she can do to work with us. I only want the best for this baby, but there is only so much I can do.
Kateibug, no one has been harsh. Your kitten is sick and needs to see a vet asap. I and others have included in their posts the names of organisations that may be able to help with the financial side of it. How can that possibly be harsh?

Anyhow, I hope you or your OH are successful in working something out with the vet. However, if it were I than I would contact the PDSA, for example, now to see where their nearest walk-in centre is.

Re: My kitten is super sick... :(

No you need to go to the vet. Not call the vet, unless it can send some damn medicine down the phone.

We are being harsh? Look at your kitten, YOU are being harsh to your BABY kitten.
If you don't want it, then if you have to take it to the vet and say, 'here, take it, I cant afford it' DO IT. Just take it and LEAVE it there. Its either dead in your house, or alive at the vets. They are not gonna have a cat there and not treat it.

Go to the vets with it now!

Re: My kitten is super sick... :(

Kateibug...I can assure you noboby is being harsh here. In fact I was VERY alarmed when I read your first post. I can only stressing the URGENCY of the situation.

Nobody can offer any help here and your kitten will not recover on it's own from something like this. Please believe me you need to get veterinary help now. It's your only option.
