Good to know It looks like a nasty wound, hoping with swift treatment it can be dealt with. Poor kitty! I wonder how the other cat is!

Re: Possible cat injury

He's having a sleepover at the vets and a stitch up in the morning. $330 but I guess that's part of having a rough little boy.

Re: Possible cat injury

Good news! Did they hazard a guess as to what might have happened? And is it just a case of gently popping whatever was pooping out slightly back in and stitching him up?

Re: Possible cat injury

Got him home from the big, a little bit doped out but he's eating so that's always a good sign.

Turns out the 'insides' was fat poking through, they had to trim it off in order to sew him back up!

Thanks heaps again for the advice!

Re: Possible cat injury

Glad he's okay, poor baby. I thought it looked like fat when I saw it. Not saying he's a "fatty bum bum" or anything, though!!

Glad he is alright and doing well. I thought it was a bit of his gut coming out, but least fat wasn't as serious.

Re: Possible cat injury

Glad to hear he is doing well and it wasn't quite as dire as it looked, I'm sure he'll be back to normal soon.
