Cat safe insecticide?

Agh! We have ants in the kitchen!

Last time this happened I sprayed Raid everywhere and it worked a treat (sorry ants). But with a little kitten around, I'm reluctant to do this, even though it's supposedly safe once it's dried. Does anyone know of any cat safe insecticide?

Re: Cat safe insecticide?

Put talcum powder around the perimeter, ants cannot cross it. Then use the covered Nippon traps somewhere out of reach of the kittens.
