Sardine Fillets (bones)??

Hey there

was in tescos and picked up some Sardine fillets for 40p each for Jango to try out as he now almost refuses to eat anything out of a tin since I started him on NI minces (spoilt little monster...) so am trying to vary his diet as much as possible!

Is it okay to give him the fillets as they are though as I know there are still small bones in them? I know he is okay with chicken wings (went to town on those in the past) but wasn't sure on fish bones? The fillets are of course raw! (skin on etc)

Advice is greatly appreciated thanks!!

Re: Sardine Fillets (bones)??

I would imagine it would be just fine as the bones are very soft so no chance of splintering. Probably they'd be a fine source of calcium too.
