raw 2 go

Sorry another raw feeding question from me :-)

I like the idea of natural instinct being complete but the one flavour has put me off and my kitties like variety.

Therefore I love the idea of the raw 2 go range as there is so much choice. I emailed the company today to ask whether it needs taurine etc adding or whether it is complete. Although I plan to continue feeding my gang there usual wet foods for 2 meals a day and then have this as a third meal. But the lady said she considers it complete as it does contain taurine but some people add more. Sooooooo my question is do I need to supplement it if they are still getting there other foods? Its usually classic, applaws, grau and hi life.

Also for those that buy raw 2 go... How does it come to you? Are the portions in tubs or sausages etc? I have a tiny freezer and need to work out what to order?

And are there any flavours they can't have from the range?

Thank you.

Re: raw 2 go

I believe it does need taurine added but I am sure other people can help you. It might be fine if you are feeding commercial wet alongside it.

NI is coming out with two other flavours 'in the near future' lamb and fish

Re: raw 2 go

I add taurine, salmon oil and liver to mine - But this is solely their diet, apart from some Orijen. If you're feeding other complete foods for at least 80% of their diet, then I should think you would be fine just giving this as it is.

I ordered just shy of 20kg (40 packs) last time and it was delivered in a polybox, from others reviews, you may get worse packaging for smaller amounts. It comes unsealed in a bag (which I still can't get my head around, but fine if it's all still completely frozen) in blocks really, I'd say 6 inches long x 4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. My order filled our new table top freezer and also the bottom draw of our other freezer.

All flavours are fine as far as I'm aware, more variety and all that

Re: raw 2 go

They say that they don't feel it needs taurine because they put heart in it but fact that it is minced means that some of the taurine would be destroyed so you would need to supplement really.

You would need to add liver too as it only contains something like 1%
