Total loss of appetite

Has anyone heard of any side effects for the drug Laurabolin ? My cat is 17 & diabetic & now diagnosed as having water retention as her liver is not doing it's job. She has been prescribed various tablets to help both symptoms, and was also given an injection of Laurabolin and one of Vitbee 12. Prior to the visit she was eating for England, anything & everything. Since then she has almost completely stopped eating & isn't even tempted by her favourites chicken or prawns. As the loss of appetite occurred prior to her starting on the tablets I am putting this down to the injections. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi

I can't offer much advice, but my cat has CRF and was given a Vit B12 and steriod injection and he went right off his food. The injections lasted 1 month, but as soon as the month was up his appetite picked right up and now he is eating for England and I now give him Vit B12 supplement in his food rather than by injections.

Thanks Jayne. I'll just have to keep tempting her & hopefully she'll start eating again.

Hi, being slave to my own diabetic 'sugar cat' Paddy, can I invite you over to Home | Diabetic Cat Care where we have a very friendly bunch of people with lots of experience with diabetic cats.
