Cat being sick....now just hair and a bit grass

Sonny was sick on friday 4am bringing up all his food from a couple of hours ago and has been sick every now and again since then. last night it was all hair and bile type stuff today its more bile type stuff and a little bit hair and a little bit grass. If he's still poorly I'll take him to the vets on monday

He had a little bit of food yesterday (bozita wet) and has just has a tiny bit again now.........just boiled him some chicken as i thought i'd heard it was good for them at times like this but just wanted to check for opinions please?

Many thanks (as always), Deb

How is your cat now? Sounds as if hairball was responsible. However I would certainly go ahead with vet visit is no improvement. Persistent vomiting should never be ignored.

Hi there i starved sonny for 18 hours then gave him some boiled chicken (first bit was over 12 hours ago now) and he's not been sick so guess he's on the mend. How long should i keep feeding him chicken only? How much chicken? Thanks

Cats eat grass to make themselves sick. The fact that the grass and fur was all you saw isn't unexpected.

If he is eating ok on light food he should be ok but if it starts again quite soon, just get it checked
