Re: sardines

Good As long as not packed in tomato or spicy sauce Full of omega 3 for a shiny coat, anti-inflammatory properties, helps protect the heart and kidneys! Just don't give them too often as they can be quite salty and high in phosphorus

Re: sardines

Funny thing is - I was told to use sardines in tomato sauce to help with constipation in a mummy cat that had just had kittens. Worked a treat too! poo smelly placenta poo!

Re: sardines

Cats LOVE sardines in tomato sauce. It is our number one preferred bait when cat trapping.

Re: sardines

If I open a tin of Sardines in my house, I have to hide somwhere to eat them! My cat would tear my face off to get at them.

Re: sardines

Lol! I try to eat healthy food, but every Saturday, I treat myself to a pepper steak pie. My Girly loves flaky pie crust and can hear the sound of human chewing from a mile away, so I have to eat "on the sly", which involves eating in a cupboard or in the car in the garage...kind of ruins the eating experience, actually.

Re: sardines

Ozzy our MC lad just adores sardines in tomato sauce, he wolfs them down and they dont effect him in any way at all, im sure that fish like sardines, mackerel , pilchards and tuna can only be good for them due to the oily nature of the fish, the only ones i dont feed him are the spicy ones in a piri-piri sauce....best wishes.......Chris
