Vet-Medic

Would you recommend these suppliers, as the Frontline Combo they sell, which is exactly the same as the one my Vet gave yesterday, is half the price my vet charges.

Don't want to get any meds, even if it just flea treatment, if I don't know they are a trusted site/supplier.

If you use them, do you also buy worming tablets from them?

Thanks,

Re: Vet-Medic

Not a supplier that I have used but how much does your vet charge for a prescription,as this product is prescription only. The difference in price may not be as great as you think once you add that.

Re: Vet-Medic

£47 for a 6 month supply. Vet-Medics sell it for about £26

Quite a difference

Is the £26 the cost of the product or the cost of product + prescription charge from your vet.

Re: Vet-Medic

Not sure as the price is given to me in total - it is not separated between product and prescription.

Isn't £20 a bit high for a prescription fee?

I need to double check it is the same product, but I have a 3 month supply so have a bit of time to find out.

I need to go in November anyway to get the kittens weighed before they dispense the worming tablets as it is a different dosage/product when they are over 4kg, and the Vet said they want to do another free health check at this stage, which I thought was quite nice.

Thanks anyway

I have just had a look at prices and it looks like the product cost is as you say around £26/27 but there will be the cost of the vets prescription on top which varies between vets.Somewhere between £10/£15 per script i think.
