Am I weird?

But I get such joy out of mealtimes for my kittens. Deciding which food to give them this time, seeing them follow me into the kitchen and look at me expectantly, then calling their names and them almost tripping me over to run to their placemats.

I love getting deliveries of tins of food and stacking them up neatly in the kittens' cupboard.

I think I'm a feeder... I'll be sad when they become adults and won't need feeding as often!

Oh and Dinah is now a perfect weight for her age, according to the kitten weight chart! Woohoo! So proud of her. Monty still has a bit of catching up to do, as males are meant to be considerably larger and he's only about 100g bigger than Dinah, but I'm sure he'll get there.

hahah no I am exactly the same! I was just saying to my boyfriend, we have way more cat food than human food in at the moment, cat food for tea!

You're not alone I miss it being so often, but they still wail like they have never been fed and run after you when it's dinner time ... even as adults. So you won't lose it completely hun

I did joke the other day about making a cottage pie with Grau.

I'm glad they don't lose the whole "OMG YOU HAVE STARVED ME!" reaction to mealtimes that I have come to love so much. The way they look up at me when I'm hovering above them with their bowls in my hands is just too cute to bear sometimes.

The minces are going down okay. Not as popular as Darling's by a long shot, and Monty sometimes needs a bit of persuasion (e.g. a crumbled up freeze dried chicken treat on top) but they do eat it all, eventually. Dinah doesn't seem to have any trouble with them but Monty takes a sniff then disappears for a while, which is unlike him! He does come back later to eat, though, when he realises that's what is for tea.

I am going to try NI next, once we've freed up some freezer space, as I've heard good things.

Haha no, I'm a feeder too, I love ordering his food and putting it away.

I love watching him wrestle with raw food, I wish I had the confidence to feed raw 100% but I don't and he wouldn't touch the Darling's minces, he likes his whole prey so we'll just have to stick with how we have things at the moment.

And Gloworm, there is much more cat food in our house than people food too, our cereal lives on top of our kitchen cupboards so that we have one cupboard in the kitchen for him. (got another unit in the hallway for overspill lol)

I too am a feeder and look forward to feeding and enjoy watching their cans of Grau, Animonda, packs of Bozita and my homemade raw in the freezer!
