Question Has anyone come across this food?

I was searching Google for something (I can't actually remember what it was now!) and came across this (Austrian?) pet food site

Google Translate

It looked quite interesting and I wondered if anyone had any experience of it?

Price looks a little high to me for a 60-80% meat content. Plus a lot have rice which is no good for me

I agree the price does look high - it works out about 38p/100g which is comparable with Animonda which has a much higher meat content.

I think they're having packaging issues - they're waiting for new labels from the printers.

The treats look like something from a chinese supermarket!

Re: Has anyone come across this food?

Nicely declared food in terms of ingredients, n'est ce pas? Also contains a nice ca/p ratio. However, it contains a whack of carbs (around 19% at dry matter analysis, which is nearly double of what I would like to feed my cats in terms of wet food. Also, they seem to add the same amount of Vit A regardless of whether the flavour recipe contains liver. For example, the cat menu with heart and liver contains 15% liver within the recipe but still includes the added Vit. A: 2000 IE/kg. Perhaps something to keep in mind and to query with them should you be interested in feeding it. Might also be interesting to see more detailed analysis.

Just my tuppence.

Re: Has anyone come across this food?

Thanks Hobbs. Just exactly what I needed - an idiot proof breakdown of the nutritional value. I really need to do more research into feline nutrition so I can interpret the ingredients list myself - my understanding of catfood german is improving though lol
