Smile drop a feed @ 12 months old?

Hi Coonie cat owners

I've read on may cat web sites that once a cat or Maine Coon is a year old, they only get 2 meals instead of three! My point is, as Coonies only reach maturity at 4, I don't think it prudent to drop of one of his meals yet! What do you guys do or have done in the past?

Bud-Bud weighs 14lbs and measures nose tip to tail end 39". Is his size normal? A part of me would love to learn we've got a big boy, but however he turns out will be just fine!

I leave fresh Applaws kibble out over night. By 7am the next morning most of it has gone. I suppose I could change his kibble to Origen which has
slightly less protein once he's a year old???

Bud-Bud normally has 2 wet meals, one dry during daylight hours, excluding
his night feed. He demolished all the meat from a lamb bone this morning and even tried to extract the marrow bone Hope him having marrow was OK?

When he spends most of the day asleep, we know he's having a growth spurt.
At the moment his hind quarters are slightly higher than his front end! In about 10 days time his top line will have levelled. Then it starts all over again! About 9.30pm he starts to get kittinish again.
We want to (act in an informed way) and do the best for Bud-Bud.Thanks in advance.

Louie & Tango are on the RC MC food & have it when we give it to them but they let us know when they want some we cant leave it out all the time for them as one of our other cats is'nt allowed any dry food, but they have access to wet food 24/7

Im not sure what either of them weigh or measure at the moment they are never still long enough
