Is it one particular flavour you are having problems with? Beef seems to come up fairly often here, it is quite a rich one and I think has more added colouring than some of the others (not at all good for carpets).
i must say i have noticed that the beef one did come back up... do you think if i add a bit of water it might be easier for him to keep down? not so rich, like?

after this lot of food is done i think i might change to something else, i have only lived in my new place for three weeks, dont want to ruin the carpet already

Re: Cat keeps being sick?

It might be better to get a different type of Felix, I have more success with the Meaty Loaf and the foils, she even keeps the beef flavour down in the Meaty Loaf. It is a bit thick so I add water to all flavours.

If it is something added to it that causes the vomiting, water makes it easier to bring back up, it doesn't seem to stop it.

I think it was the beef that we had as a sample, and I am pretty sure that the added colouring is the problem, it is very dark. Anything that can do what that stuff does to a carpet can't be good for a cat. It is unfortunate that I have a picky eater as I have a stack of Bozita, Grau and Smilla which she won't touch.

Re: Cat keeps being sick?

My mum's cat used to be sick once or twice a week and the vet did find some minor problem (can't remember now what it was) and put him on Hills Science Plan (probably just fobbing mum off)

When Mum died his new owners started giving him wet food again and now he's only sick once a fortnight or so- and he's getting on for 15 now

Other than that he seems healthy and not even underweight which is strange as he's always brought so much up. Mum thought he was probably taken from his mum too early and not weaned properly (she got him from a pet shop) but I don't know if that was the reason

Don't know if that's much help but I just thought I would let you know that some cats do that and nobody knows why!
