Judder has liver failure

Not having a good time of it!
I had to have my little girl Maggie put to sleep on Thursday night as she had antifreeze poisoning.
My older boy Judder (10 years) wasnt interested in his tea last night, so I had a look in his mouth this morn to check his teeth to find a yellowy tinge to his Gums etc. Took him straight to the vets and as I expected he has Liver failure. They are blood testing him to see what his values are and are going to get back to me with the results to see what our next step is.

Please keep your fingers crossed!

Tanya xxx

I'm so sorry to hear about Judder just after you have lost Maggie. It's awful to have all these things at once. Good luck with him at the vets. I hope they can help. Fingers crossed for you.

Poor Boy. A friend's Cat of 7 years had something very wrong with her liver and thankfully they were able to operate and she is still going strong. Fingers crossed for you both xx

Re: Judder has liver failure

Spoke to the vet yest afternoon and she said his liver values are sky high but he isnt aneamic and the liver feels normal so he has the best kind of liver failure to have!
He's been kep in overnight, the nurse called me about 7pm and said he had eaten two bowls of food and was very bright, enjoying his cuddles and purring his head off.
The vet is calling me again this morning so just waiting for her call.

xxxxxx
