Re: Judder has liver failure

You would be surpirsed how many of our clients have older cats who have liver failure and go on for a good few years

I do hope this is the case with your cat.

Re: Judder has liver failure

Yes I must say the vets are great.
Its a hospital so the nurses stay there and there is always someone around. They are more than happy for you to go and see the inpatients which I think is great. Theres nothing like a cuddle from your mum to make you feel better!

Re: Judder has liver failure

Just to say,
I phoned the vets this morning and they want Judder to come home today. Apparently he is really bright and happy and eating them out of house and home.
I must say I am nervous about him coming home in case he takes a turn for the worse again but all I can do is hope!

Re: Judder has liver failure

Just wanted to give you all an update, as you have all been so caring. Judder went to the vet last night for his check up. Hes now doing really well. He hasnt put on any weight but he also hasnt lost any so thats good. Hes now eating well and seems to be back to our old Judder, purring, rubbing and puddings! The bill was very painfull but he is more than worth it!
Fingers crossed will be with us for a bit longer yet!

xxxxxx
